We partner with trusted third-party courier and logistics services to ensure your products reach you in the best possible condition.

This Shipping Policy explains everything you need to know about how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders across Bangladesh.

By placing an order on www.shuloban.com, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.

2. Shipping Coverage

Shuloban currently delivers to all districts across Bangladesh, including both urban and rural areas.

We categorize our delivery zones as follows:

Note: Delivery availability to certain remote or coastal areas may be limited depending on our courier partners’ coverage. If delivery is not available to your location, our team will contact you within 24 hours of order placement.

Shuloban works with leading third-party courier and logistics service providers in Bangladesh to ensure fast, reliable, and trackable deliveries. Our current courier partners include:

Shuloban is not directly responsible for the operations, conduct, or service quality of third-party courier partners. However, we are committed to working only with reputable, reliable logistics providers and will always assist you in resolving any delivery-related issues.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

Business days refer to Saturday through Thursday, excluding government holidays and national public holidays in Bangladesh.

These are estimated timelines only. Actual delivery times may vary due to:

  • High order volumes during peak seasons or festivals (Eid, Puja, New Year)
  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or hartals
  • Courier partner operational delays
  • Incomplete or incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
  • Payment verification delays for bank transfer or mobile banking orders

Shuloban is not liable for delivery delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

5. Order Processing Time

Before your order is handed over to our courier partner, it goes through the following processing stages:

Orders placed on Fridays or public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.

For natural or perishable products such as Sundarbans honey, shutki, or fresh produce, additional handling and packaging time may be required to ensure quality and safety during transit.

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location and the weight or size of your order:

Exact shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

Shuloban may offer free shipping on orders above a certain value or during promotional campaigns. Free shipping eligibility and conditions will be clearly communicated on our website at the time of the offer.

For bulk or wholesale orders, shipping charges will be calculated separately and communicated to you before order confirmation.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking ID and courier partner details via:

  • 📱 SMS to your registered phone number
  • 💬 WhatsApp message (where applicable)

You can use this tracking ID to monitor the real-time status of your delivery through the respective courier partner’s website or app.

8. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

8.1 Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners will attempt delivery to your provided address. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery:

  • The courier will attempt to contact you via phone
  • A second delivery attempt may be made the following business day
  • If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the parcel may be returned to Shuloban

8.2 Failed Delivery Due to Customer Unavailability

If a parcel is returned to Shuloban due to the customer being unreachable or unavailable after multiple delivery attempts:

  • You will be contacted to arrange redelivery
  • Additional redelivery charges will apply and must be paid before the order is reshipped
  • If you choose not to receive redelivery, a refund may be issued after deducting the original shipping cost and any applicable return shipping charges

8.3 Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Shuloban is not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or unclear delivery address provided at the time of order. Please ensure your delivery address — including house number, road, area, upazila, district, and contact number — is accurate and complete before confirming your order.

If you realize your address is incorrect after placing your order, please contact us immediately at admin@shuloban.com before your order is dispatched. Once dispatched, address changes cannot be guaranteed.

9. Packaging

Shuloban takes great care in packaging every order to ensure products arrive safely and in excellent condition.

  • All products are securely packed to prevent damage during transit
  • Fragile or delicate handcrafted items receive additional protective packaging
  • Perishable and natural products are packed with appropriate materials to maintain quality
  • We are committed to using eco-friendly and minimal packaging wherever possible, in line with our green business values

If you receive a parcel with visibly damaged outer packaging, please photograph it before opening and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

10. Cash on Delivery (COD) Shipments

For orders placed with Cash on Delivery as the payment method:

  • Please have the exact order amount ready at the time of delivery — our courier partners may not carry change
  • COD orders are subject to availability in your delivery area
  • Shuloban reserves the right to cancel COD orders if the customer is unreachable for delivery confirmation prior to dispatch
  • Repeated refusal of COD deliveries may result in COD being disabled for your account

11. Damaged or Lost Parcels

11.1 Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Take clear photographs or a video of the damaged product and packaging immediately upon receipt
  • Do not discard the packaging
  • Contact us at admin@shuloban.com within 24 hours of delivery with your Order ID and visual evidence

We will investigate the matter with our courier partner and arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.

11.2 Lost in Transit

If your tracking information shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, or if your parcel appears to be lost during transit:

  • Contact us immediately at admin@shuloban.com or via WhatsApp at +8801911 368538
  • We will initiate an investigation with the courier partner within 2 business days
  • Resolution timelines depend on the courier partner’s investigation process, which may take up to 7 business days

Shuloban will work diligently to resolve all lost parcel cases and will offer an appropriate remedy — replacement or refund — once the investigation is concluded.

12. Special Circumstances & Force Majeure

Shuloban shall not be held liable for shipping delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters — cyclones, floods, or storms (particularly relevant to our Sundarbans region)
  • National or political strikes, hartals, or blockades
  • Government-imposed restrictions or curfews
  • Pandemic-related disruptions or public health emergencies
  • Courier partner operational failures or strikes

In such situations, we will communicate with affected customers as promptly as possible and work to fulfill all pending orders at the earliest opportunity.

13. Festival & Peak Season Shipping

During major festivals and peak shopping seasons — including Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Durga Puja, Pohela Boishakh, and national sale events — delivery timelines may be extended due to significantly higher order volumes and courier network congestion.

We recommend placing your orders well in advance during these periods to ensure timely delivery. Any expected delays during peak seasons will be communicated clearly on our website and social media channels.
